ChamSys MagicQ Hire The MagicQ Owner‘s Group

The MagicQ MQ60 is the first of a new generation of small and lightweight MagicQ consoles specifically designed for travelling lighting designers. The MagicQ MQ60 fits within the hand luggage restrictions of all the major budget airlines including Ryanair, Easyjet and South West. The MQ60 is a fully featured console including both an Ethernet switch and an in-built UPS, weighing in at around 6kg.

The MagicQ MQ60 features the same familiar and flexible GUI lighting control, media server connectivity options and in-built Pixel Mapper found in all other MagicQ consoles. The MQ60 utilises the same software and show formates, enabling compatibility between all products in the MagicQ range.

The MagicQ MQ60 supports 12 universes over Ethernet using Art-Net I, II or III, Pathport, or Streaming ACN. In addition there are four fully patchable direct DMX outputs on the rear panel.

The MagicQ MQ60 incorporates high reliability components, including high durability metal Neutrik Ethercon locking connectors for easy and reliable networking. As with other MagicQ consoles, the Ethernet switch is protected by the UPS, thus ensuring that both the console and the network switch maintain operation even during a power loss.

The MagicQ MQ60 features and in-built touch screen with the same resolution as the MagicQ MQ100 consoles, but in a more compact size. In addition, there is an external monitor output for a separate display, which can be up to 1440x900 resolution, and can be a USB or serial touch screen.

The MagicQ MQ60 provides and immensely powerful complete control console in an ultra compact size. It is ideal for easy transport and fitting into small spaces, and is the console of choice for controlling lighting, video and LED. The MagicQ MQ60 also makes an ideal "tech console" for testing lighting on stage or in the warehouse.
